1.INTENDED USE

the universal transport medium(UTM) set is designed to transport swab samples at room temperature.It is one of the only medium that 

may be stored and transported at 2℃ to 8℃ within 6 days.

2.APPLICATION

For swab sample collection,transportation and storage.

3.STORAGE

Unopened set shoule be stored at 2-30℃,goods for 12 months.avoid exposing to strong light. The opened set shouled be used within 

72 Hours.

In the following condition.please don't use the set:

1) there are signs of microbial contamination or obvious turbidity in the  reagent.

2) medium color turns to yellow.

4.PROCEDURE

1)Open a tube with UTM.

2)Use a swab for sampling

3)Insert the swab sample into the tube,break the swab as instructed,leave the sample part in the tube,cap the tube,store it at 2-8℃,and 

use it within 6days.if it needs stored for longer than 6 days,please store it in -20℃.
